My friend Andrea and I went to the Game of Thrones Exhibition in March and had dinner in Toronto. We went to Sushi on Bloor. The place is small; I would say it fits about 40-50 people.

It was my first time trying this place and I quite enjoyed it. I ordered the Red Dragon roll, Spider Crab roll, and shrimp & vegetable tempura. Below is a photo of the Red Dragon roll and Spider Crab roll.

I didn’t think that the Red Dragon roll had salmon in it (I don’t eat fish except for tuna and eel) but it did. It is the fish that is on top of each roll, which I couldn’t figure out what kind of fish it was at first. It wasn’t until I brought home the leftovers that I knew it was salmon.

Depending the rolls you get, they’re usually about 6-8 pieces. The rolls did stay together for the most part, which is always a good thing. Other than that, I can’t say much about it. Sushi is pretty much the same to me almost everywhere. I do recommend this place if you are looking for a sushi place to eat at. It’s not an all-you-can-eat place though, but still good.

Afterwards, we took a break and went to a bookstore (burn off some the sushi!). Then we went to Menchie’s. Menchie’s is a frozen yogurt place and it’s self-serve. You pick the kind of frozen yogurt you want in their Menchies cup (you can mix flavours too!) and then you choose the toppings you want. You can put as much, or as little as you want. The price is based on weight.

Above is my cup. I had the blueberry cheesecake topped with chocolate rocks, white chocolate, cookie dough, graham crackers, and caramel sauce.

My favourite frozen yogurt place is Yogen Fruz but I love Menchie’s because you make your frozen yogurt concotion yourself. Also, it’s such a cute place too! I mean, even

If you haven’t been to Menchie’s before, I highly recommend it. Ask for their rewards card too! 🙂
